In 2007

Friends Of Kings Park logo flowerbed

In 2007, a project took place involving the pupils and staff from Kings Park Secondary school. The pupils took part in a competition to design a raised flower bed in the walled garden.

The winning design was selected and prepared for planting by Land Services. Planting was then carried out by the pupils themselves in the walled garden with the assistance of the park staff.

The raised bed was then on show for the season and made a significant contribution to the walled garden display.
